Frings won the Young Hotelier of the Year Award because of his record-breaking years leading the leisure team of his hotel. The growth of his team was always his focus, so he always provided guidance and expertise. The jury noticed his creativity and outside the box thinking as his key to success and was impressed by how he challenges, motivate and empowers his team.
Frings said: "I've always been empowered throughout my career. That's why I'm here today. The key is always to continue learning and to continue to better myself. And that does not only mean to learn from my leaders but also to learn from my team, which is what I do daily. I listen to what they have to say, and I try to empower them to become young leaders.”
