During the past winter semester, numerous students completed their degree programme at IUBH University of Applied Sciences. More than 130 graduates attended the official graduation ceremony last Saturday at the Kameha Grand Hotel. Representatives of the IUBH Rectorate and the Deputy Mayor of Bad Honnef, Klaus Munk, congratulated the graduates. About 700 guests gathered to celebrate the students’ achievements.
Each semester as a traditional part of the graduation ceremony, the “IUBH Best Thesis Award” is given for the best bachelor and master thesis. The Patrons Association of IUBH University of Applied Sciences sponsors this award. Pierre Bourdon, a graduate of International Hospitality Management, was honoured for his bachelor thesis, Elina Em, International Management, was honoured for her master thesis. The speakers Eric Hügel and Ulrich Jünger presented the award winners with a book voucher of € 250 each on behalf of the Patrons Association.
Best academic achievement was also honoured. Clara Herschel stood out with her 1.1 grade point average for her bachelor degree in International Tourism Management, and Maximilian Wagner with a grade point average of 1.4 in International Management. For their achievements, they were awarded with hotel vouchers from Baby & Kinder Bio-Resort Ulrichshof and Kameha Grand Hotels.
